A group of friends in Cape Town, writing tiny bits of fiction for fun and profit (sans profit).
Mic Fic Club
The first rule of Mic Fic Club is: you do not write about Mic Fic Club.
The second rule of Mic Fic Club is: never write down the first rule.
Third rule of Mic Fic Club: if someone yells "constructive criticism," give it to them. (There's no obligation to comment on other people's stories, but doing so has been anecdotally proven to increase your Awesome.)
Fourth rule: only one submission to a Theme. (But you can put whatever you like into the Extras Category.)
Fifth rule: one Theme at a time, folk.
Sixth rule: no shirts, no shoes. (No-one will be checking up on this one.)
Seventh rule: stories will go on as long as they want to. (Submissions should be about 250 words. 50 out on either side is okay. Anything longer or shorter should go into the Extras Category (in addition to your Submission, not instead of!).)
And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first night at Mic Fic Club, you have to write. (You can write on other nights too. That's fine.)
I do give a thumbs up to the bottom one, with the black silhouettes.
Woot! Thanks, Roods.
